Home / For accreditors
Supporting accreditation, not replacing it.
Accreditation decides whether an institution meets a standard. A ranking compares institutions that already do. We aim to be a useful, independent resource for the bodies that set and enforce those standards.
What we offer
- Verification findings. Where our checks surface inconsistencies, for example a provider claiming a recognition it does not hold, we may share the facts with the competent authority.
- Referrals. Credible reports of degree mills and accreditation mills received through hi@rankinglab.org may be passed to the relevant authority.
- Open data. Aggregate, source-linked evidence on how programs integrate AI, published under CC BY 4.0 for research and policy use.
- Method transparency. Our rubric and its revisions are public, so they can be scrutinized and improved.
What we do not do
- We do not accredit, certify or license institutions or programs.
- We do not publish allegations of fraud; we report verifiable facts to those empowered to act.
- We do not claim affiliation with, or endorsement by, any accreditation body.
